Short Description (চুটি বিৱৰণ) = In pursuance of the directions of the Govt. of Assam, Online Applications are invited for filling up of 1052 posts of Constable (UB) & 663 posts of Constables (AB) in the Assam Police in the Pay Scale of Rs. 14000-70000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 5600/- and other Allowances, as admissible under the Rules.

Educational Qualification - (শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা) = The educational qualification shall be minimum Class X passed.
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residentship:
(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the online application form.
Age Limit (With Relaxation Dates) - (বয়সৰ সময়সীমা) =
▶ UR (General) = The age of the Applicant must be 18-25 years as on 01-01-2026 (i.e., Applicants born not before 01-01-2001 and not later than 01-01-2008).
▶ OBC = The age of the Applicant must be 18-28 years as on 01-01-2026 (i.e., Applicants born not before 01-01-1998 and not later than 01-01-2008).
▶ SC/ST = The age of the Applicant must be 18-30 years as on 01-01-2026 (i.e., Applicants born not before 01-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2008).
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered themselves in any of the employment exchanges of Assam.
Application Fee: Application fee is NIL.
