❦ Short Description (চুটি বিৱৰণ) = Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2026 for the recruitment of approximately 12256 Group B and Group C posts in different Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc.
✿ Name of exam: CGL Examination, 2026
✿ Name of post: Various Group B and Group C Posts (Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Inspector, Sub Inspector, Inspector of Posts, Statistical Investigator, Office Superintendent, Auditor , Accountant, Tax Assistant , Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, etc )
✿ Age Limit - (বয়সৰ সময়সীমা) = Candidates age must be between 18 to 32 years as on 1st August 2026.
Age Relaxation: Permissible relaxations in upper age limit for different categories are as under:
▶ SC/ ST: 5 years
▶ OBC: 3 years
▶ Ex-Servicemen: 3 years
✿ Educational Qualification - (শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা) = Educational Qualification for all posts is Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. The candidates who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply; however they must possess Essential Qualification on or before the cutoff date; i.e., closing date of receipt of applications.
✒ Application Fees (আবেদন মাচুল) =
Candidates have to pay a certain amount as application fee depending up on their category. The details are as given below:
- UR = Rs 100/-
- OBC/MOBC = Rs 100/-
- SC/ ST/ Women = Nil
- Ex-Servicemen = Nil
Payment Mode: BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
