❦ Short Description (চুটি বিৱৰণ) = Gauhati University has released the official notification of Gauhati University B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (GUBEDCET) for admission into GU B.Ed. Course, for the 2026 – 2028 Academic session.
Interested and eligible candidates can submit their online application in official application portal of GUBEDCET for the admission into Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course under Gauhati University w.e.f. 12th June 2026.

✿ Educational Qualification - (শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা) = A candidate may be allowed to appear in the GUBEDCET-2026 provided that he/she has passed the BA/BSc/B.Com.
Or
MA/MSc/M.Com or equivalent degree programme from a recognised Board/University with at least 50% marks (or 45% marks SC/ST/OBC/PWD).
✒ Application Fees (আবেদন মাচুল) = A candidate who wants to submit online application for GUBEDCET-2026 must pay an application fee of Rs.2000.00 + Bank Transaction Charge.

✒ CET Test Syllabus (লিখিত পৰীক্ষাৰ পাঠ্যতালিকা) =
Section A - General English (Vocabulary, Tense, Voice, Narration, Prepositions, Correction of Sentences & Comprehension) = 100 Marks
Section B - General Knowledge (Indian History, Indian Polity, General Science, Current Affairs) = 120 Marks
Section C - Test of Reasoning and Numerical Ability = 80 Marks
Section D - Current Indian Education (Issues and Policies), National Policy of Education 2020, Right to Education, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) = 60 Marks
Section E - Ethics and Teaching Aptitude = 40 Marks
Total = 400 Marks
